Advanced diving license

I embarked on my diving journey with a basic open water course in Koh Tao, where the highlight was an encounter with a magnificent whale shark named George. My diving adventures continued alongside my mom in Fernando de Noronha, followed by explorations in the clear waters of Sardinia. Advancing my skills, I completed my advanced course in Playa del Carmen, which led me to the vibrant underwater world of Cozumel and the mesmerizing cenotes. Diving in these cenotes offered a surreal experience akin to cave diving, without the need for specialized certification.

Fitness instructor

I embarked on a fitness instructor course, deepening my understanding of human anatomy, stretching techniques, and muscle growth processes. The program equipped me with the skills to effectively guide individuals through their fitness journeys, emphasizing correct form during exercises to maximize benefits and minimize injuries. This comprehensive training has prepared me to inspire and instruct clients with confidence, ensuring their health and fitness goals are met with tailored exercise plans.

Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS

Through my advanced studies in "Migration Law", I gained comprehensive insights into various migration aspects beyond my specialization in asylum law. The 1.5-year course included a rigorous evaluation process, where I delivered a 15-minute presentation and developed a 60-page project on the sensitive topic of minors' audition in asylum law. This academic endeavor not only broadened my understanding of migration issues but also honed my research, presentation, and analytical skills, preparing me for practical challenges in the field of migration law.

Accounting diploma

accounting firm.jpg

My godfather operated a one-man accounting firm in the Canton of Zug, Switzerland, specializing in accounting and tax returns for small businesses. Joining him for a day's work, we envisioned me taking over his business, prompting me to pursue accounting courses, leveraging my background in tax law from my tenure at PwC. Ultimately, I found my calling in government work, choosing not to take over the firm. However, this experience significantly deepened my accounting knowledge, enriching my professional skill set.

Dancing

salsa dancing.jpg

My passion for dancing has been a journey of rhythm and connection, beginning with my first salsa and bachata classes in university. The dance floor became a space where language barriers faded, allowing communication through music and movement alone. The allure of the music and my desire to move with it drove me to never stop learning. After a two-year hiatus, my eagerness to return and shake off the rust is stronger than ever, motivated by the joy and social interaction that dancing brings into my life.

Entrepreneurship

eurasian

Leaving behind my intriguing and lucrative position with the Swiss government was a decision fueled by a desire for change and adventure. Amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I embarked on a sabbatical year, determined to explore the world and seek new opportunities. Arriving in Medellín, Colombia, marked the beginning of a fresh chapter in my life's journey. Inspired by the vibrant culture and potential for growth, I pivoted towards investing across Latin America. My overarching goal is to cultivate enough passive income to sustain my nomadic lifestyle, while also contributing to philanthropic endeavors focused on aiding both people in need and the welfare of animals. Embracing this newfound freedom, I am committed to living life on my terms, with boundless curiosity and a spirit of generosity guiding my path forward.

Skydiving

My skydiving journey has been exhilarating, with over 200 jumps under my belt, most of which took place in the breathtaking landscapes of Switzerland. However, some of my most memorable jumps were barefoot landings on the sands of Playa del Carmen and Algarve. Each leap instilled in me a rush of adrenaline, amplifying the sense of freedom as I soared through the skies. Overcoming my fear of heights became a thrilling conquest with every jump, the challenge itself adding to the excitement. The panoramic views from above were nothing short of spectacular, a stunning tapestry of earth and sky unfurling beneath me. To master the art of skydiving, one must maintain calmness and concentration amidst the chaos of the freefall. And finally, sharing this adventure with fellow enthusiasts, jumping in synchronized groups, added an extra layer of fun and camaraderie to an already unforgettable experience.

Ayahuasca

During my one-week ayahuasca retreat in Fredonia, Colombia, nestled within a picturesque finca, I embarked on a profound journey of self-discovery. Throughout the retreat, we partook in the sacred ayahuasca ceremony five times, each experience guiding me deeper into the realms of my consciousness. As the ancient medicine took hold, I found myself unraveling layers of my identity, gaining valuable insights into my being. The transformative power of ayahuasca enabled me to confront and work through long-held limiting beliefs, allowing me to emerge with a newfound sense of clarity and purpose. Through this profound experience, not only did I gain a better understanding of myself, but I also developed a profound appreciation for the wisdom and efficacy of traditional healing practices. My ayahuasca retreat was not just a spiritual journey; it was a transformative exploration of the self and an immersion into the ancient wisdom of indigenous cultures.
